Hobro
Coming from the south, you will see the North Jutland region of vast forests and
wide view of nature. Here we find the roots of the historical
Denmark, the Middle Ages and Viking Age. Hobro is one of the historic
towns in the area.
The city lies at the end of Mariager Fjord.
The old center is in a tunnel that separates the lake
North Inlet from Mariager Fjord.
The city has here spread over the steep, 50 m high valley slopes and beyond the plateau to the north and south.

Hobro Church
Built 1850-52, designed by the architect Gottlieb Bindesbøll after
the old church was burned. The single nave church was built in a
personally influenced neo-Gothic style with bands of red and yellow brick, and

Fyrkat
Fyrkat is one of the four "Trelleborge", which is spread throughout the country.
Constructed in the late 900s under the direction of Harald Bluetooth.
