The specific light in Odsherred has always attracted many artists and artisans, and there are many galleries and exhibition spaces in the area. Also the now deceased painter Sigurd Swane enjoyed Odsherred and built Malergården by Plejerup for himself and his family. Their home is now a museum.
High above Isefjorden is Anneberg Collections with Northern Europe's largest collection of glass from antiquity to the present day. And in West Zealand Art Museum, Soro you can see a fine collection of Danish art from the 1700s to today.
