The specific light in Odsherred has always attracted many artists and artisans, and there are many galleries and exhibition spaces in the area. Also the now deceased painter Sigurd Swane enjoyed Odsherred and built Malergården by Plejerup for himself and his family. Their home is now a museum.
High above Isefjorden is Anneberg Collections with Northern Europe's largest collection of glass from antiquity to the present day. And in West Zealand Art Museum, Soro you can see a fine collection of Danish art from the 1700s to today.
Everywhere in West Sealand you sense the presence of history. In Åmosen has made many fine finds from the Stone Age, and in Trundholm Moor, the unique Sun Chariot from the Bronze Age found. The Vikings left their marks around Isefjorden and by

outside Slagelse where you can experience the well-preserved fortress and its museum.
There are many castles and manor houses in Uttaranchal, and part of the big houses are open to the public, eg Dragsholm Slot at Fårevejle - with great hall, ghosts and spooky dungeon, where the Earl of Bothwell was imprisoned for five years.

Fishing in Kalundborg With 160 km coastline there are of course some really good opportunities to go angling in Kalundborg. For example, out of Røsnæs lighthouse, where you among other things, have good opportunities to catch garfish, or the Black Stone at Asnæs forest or Kalundborg inner fjord - which is a good winter place.
Fishing on Sejerø Are you looking for a unique destination for a weekend fishing trip, then we recommend Sejerø. Among other reef on the northern tip is a dream for anglers. It's a big havørredrevir and you can spend all day on the fishing area it.
