The baptism in Aarhus Cathedral used a baptismal font from 1481 donated by Bishop Jens Iversen Lange, who also gave Aarhus Cathedral's famous altarpiece. The font is carried by the four apostles and looks like a bell, which is upside down, which probably reflects the bell founder Peter Hansen in Flensburg is the artist behind the baptismal font.
Aarhus Cathedral has five artistically executed golden grilles of the German art wrought Casper Fincke. The most prominent is just before one enters chancel. The grid defines the chancel, which also has its own newer organ, so chancel can serve as a small church that can be used for smaller religious ceremonies, which otherwise could easily feel a bit empty at the church's 1200 bench seats.

During the journey to St. Petersburg, there was a shipwreck north of Skagen, which ship model, however, survived and even sailed ashore.
