"slotsholmen" contains both Parliament, Supreme Court and the Prime Minister. Parts of the castle at the disposal of the Royal Family.
The Royal Reception Rooms include The Tower Room and the Oval Throne Room, where foreign ambassadors are received by the Queen.
From the Throne Room gives access to the balcony where the proclamation of the Danish monarchs are.
unique tapestries
The Great Hall is the largest and most prestigious space. Here modern tapestries that on the occasion of the Queen's 50th birthday was commissioned in Paris as a gift from the Danish business.
Bjørn Nørgaard painted the cartons which the tapestries were woven. The tapestries are colorful and detailed descriptions of Danish history over 1000 years.
Prime Minister uses the Royal Reception Rooms - particularly in connection with the state visit. At these events used Alexandra Hall as a framework for official dinners.
With ticket for the Royal Reception Rooms, you are entitled to a guided tour.
